| I was telling Skip the other day about my new best in the 60ft at Thompson last race. Track was biting hard an sent the Z off the line in record setting fashion with a 1.166 - 60ft an only spraying 1 small kit of 175hp under my new Dale Cubic Dominater. All night my worst 60ft was a 1.178. Not bad for a car weighing 3100# an on 29.5/10.5 tires in that race. The new carb has a very quick response an seems to work flawless, had the candles lit under the car too, something I couldn't achieve with the SV1 single barrel. My best 60ft with the SV1 all summer was a low 1.2, it just wasn't the carb for the Z. |

| Don, wow, that 1.166 is amazing for a 3100# car. Dale does all the work for the Roemer's on their car and they love his work. It seems that SV1 works better on lighter cars than the the heavier cars like yours. |

| My best 60's were in the 1.171-1.172 spraying 600hp last year, but were normally in the high 1.18-low 1.19 range. Nerver has it ran a low 1.17 all night long, I think the Cubic carb helped for sure. Now that the fuel end is stable once again maybe I can start laying down some power, I've only touched on about 50% of my nitrous capability this summer because of the carb issues. Maybe next summer will be better. |

| That pass was 5.27 on the small 175 kit (78n-73f) believe it or not, right after they prepped the track. I was first out an figured I'd spin in the fresh VHT so I only ran the small kit. |

| Mr Z acutually if you wanted since your way faster than most those guys is run the car on motor just give it alittle tune up and only bring the nitrous in when u need it. I guess it would be just a more conservitve way of being on the car. |

| I ran the red ragtop Mustang last race on motor by accident Brock. I changed the tune in the nitrous an when I do that I shut the nitrous side fuel pump off an forgot to turn it back on so when I made the pass the fuel safetys shut the whole system down an I ran it with just motor power. It was a turbo charged mustang too an if I'da told him he would of felt bad, just glad I got a "BigAzz" motor an didn't need the power adder with him, lol. |

| Wheatons right, if ya run 11 lbs instead of 12lbs of air ya got one lb less unsprung rotating weight, lol !!!!! haha!! If ya take 3-4 lbs of air from each front tire too, now your shedding nearly 10 lbs of unsprung weight, its gotta help your 60ft Toot. |

| How about we buy a bunch of industrial gum bands, install a pole down in the traps and fasten one end of all the gum bands that are tied together to this pole, hook the other end to to the truck and then you back up towards the starting line and position the truck holding the brake. And with the green light take your foot off the brake ! I'm still working on the stopping part and that seems to be the fly in the ointment. You might want to make sure you have your passport with you Toot.
I think Wily E. Coyote used this set-up...............once. |
