Well I bought a car to build into a new race car .It will give me somthing to work on this winter .I'ts a 1953 belair and boy is it a rust bucket I have had it in the garage about 3 weeks and used about 6 pounds of mig wire already .I have a small block 400 for it and I will be using a TH350 ,got a good deal on a 411 dana 60 so i'll be using that. I wanted somthing different than that nova because it seems like every race i went to this year there were a bunch of cars just like it. I hope to have the 53 on the track sometime in 2013, so next year i'll be running the green nova .With the parts I have hoping to get the belair to run in the 11.50 range. maybe it will be a little easer to drive than the small tire nova also the belair has big side windows so I hope that I can see the finish line a little better.

i bought a 76 nova off phil n.basically all it needs is a motor,tranny, and exhaust.i couldnt passs it up phil gave me a really good deal on it. im hopin to run in the high 8s low 9s in the eighth mile.cant wait til i get it done to go racing!

cool guys best thing to do over a long and hard winter is to keep busy! I've been working on cleaning out our garage and getting my tools and everything organized so we can bring the race car in. We have alot of work to do on it so we got to get busy. We have to update everything for tech and a few small things for the motor and a few other things. We will deffiently have are hands full lol
