Most of the cars in this race will be between 8.90 an 9.10 I believe. I gotta get out an ajust my power for a 8.9000000000000000001 to get the win, I think there will be some money to be had an the Z28 can run that number fairly easy with the right tuneup.

I think that 8.90 ride might be relaxing for the Z car...have plenty of time to look around and check the gauges going down the track...ha ha I will see you at the next race on may 29th with the club.

I messed up bad yesterday, didn't have any passes under my belt yet an couldn't slow the Z down at all. I ran her through the 1/8 an lifted about 900ft out an drifted to a 8.80, 2nd pass I lifted a little earlier an still went a 8.85. Not in the race yet so I made an easy pass an put up a number of 10.24 to get in last place qualifying spot. Had to run the #1 guy that ran 8.91 all day an lost 1st round. I need to limit the throttle back to run 8.90 consistent. I did have some nice 1/8 mile numbers an 60ft though. 5.46 an 5.48 an the 60's were a best of 1.2102 an the rest were 1.22's al motor BABY @ 2950lbs.

Wow, what great day at Thompson! The club did not have a good turnout but the members that made it had a blast. Thanks to WheatonSpecial and Amac for getting my malibu to hook...oh ya Thompson Raceway a-1 job on track prep. The bu went a best 1.60 60' and felt like it was picking the wheel off the ground (FUN). Big Z made it into the final 4 of the 8.90 race...I learned that a couple of washers here and there and you pick up 100 hp! We also got to watch a nitrous bottle fly at over 100 mph, pretty scary stuff. Here are some picks.....
