That's a great class for the youngsters. PRP has it, and although the participation level is low, none the less, it's a good teaching tool and a way for the next generation to learn. I hope Quaker has a good turn-out of Teen Champion racers.
Just so folks don't get worked up, there MUST be an adult in the passenger seat with the racer.

It's good training Brock. Now the only time you can drive the car is, from the staging lanes to the line, then make your pass and when you get off the track, you have to switch drivers with the person riding with you. I'm sure you can see the reasons for this since you're a unlicensed driver and with the insurance regulations in place.

The first time I raced dad's car I pee'd myself....well not really, it ran 13.20s....

We were at Thompson, showed up an hour late, so I only got one time run. I ran a 13.21, so I dialed a 13.20. The other car was slower than me and I seen him move, then my lights came down and I whacked the gas....RED LIGHT...(.488 reaction time.) I run it all the way down the track and wonder where the other guy went, get back to the booth and seen I went a 13.21. He was still about 50 ft down track after his car died. Took about three minutes to get it fired, but he got it down the track and won the race....

And my hatred of bracket racing began!!
