Well at least the new drive is where the worst and bumpiest parts of the pits were. Will be interesting to see how well received it is with the neighboring pit spaces. Watch out for Ray Wilkins, he's a whiner.....

I don't think there to many options for a new entrance

From what Greg has said, Norm wanted to buy property on Rt. 62 down past the junkyards and have the entrance down there. But the owner of the property is unwilling to sell. Then they thought of putting it in just north of the timing tower, but the state said there wasn't enough of a clear view for motorists coming the other way on Rt. 165.

There is an entrance there I have seen used in the past as a exit at big events I thought maybe they were going to use it for spectaders

It will work out like Tim said some will whine about it but at least it did not close!!!

They complaints will be limited to the loss of pit space next to the entrance. Thats where all of the bigger trailers and the long wheelbase dragsters hung out. So true to the fact 'at least it didn't close'. I'm as happy as anyone and I actually hope to make it up to race it this year. I have some QERC butts to wipe. Thats right, you read here first, LMAO!!!
